Water

1st Quarter Due May 1st for the months of January, February, and March

2nd Quarter Due August 1st for the months April, May, and June

3rd Quarter Due November 1st for the months of July, August, and September

4th Quarter Due February 1st for the months of October, November, and December

 

Sewer

1st Quarter Due February 1st for the months of February, March, and April

2nd Quarter Due May 1st for the months May, June, and July

3rd Quarter Due August 1st for the months of August, September, and October

4th Quarter Due November 1st for the months of November, December, and January

​Sewer Fees:

Sewer is billed quarterly at $50.00 per equivalent domestic unit.​

Penalty:

The penalty is calculated at 1½% per month.  If the bill is not paid within 2 weeks of the due date, a late notice is sent, stating that the bill must be paid by a certain date or the water service will be disconnected.  Service shall not be reinstated until all arrears are paid-in-full, including a service fee of $35.00.

​

Residents are required to keep the area of the water meter, free from any barriers, parked cars and/or vegetation, that may impact us accessing the water meter.

New Connections

Returned Check Fee: $20.00
Final Read Fee: $25.00
Restoration fee following shut-off for water delinquency: $35.00

Meter Test Fee: $75.00​​

Sewer Vent Cap

In the event a sewer vent is damaged and must be replaced this device can be purchased and installed by the homeowner. If the homeowner requests that the Authority purchase and install the sewer cap there will be a $25.00 charge. This fee encompasses the product.

If you are looking to connect Water and/or Sewer to a property that isn't already connected, please contact our office 856-783-0739, so we can confirm if Water and/or Sewer is available to the property. We will also determine if a Street Opening permit is needed.

A Street Opening Permit , if required, along with a CCMUA permit, must be obtained prior to obtaining a Pine Hill MUA Permit.

Connection Fees:

 - Water Permit Connection Charge: $2,900.00

 - Sewer Permit Connection Charge: $2,345.00

The water/sewer service lines on the property are the homeowners' responsibility. If there is damage or leak in the water/sewer service line, the homeowner must repair it at their expense. The water meter can only be serviced by the Pine Hill MUA. Any tampering or damage to the water meter is considered theft of service.

The Authority accepts payment in the form of cash, check, or money order, made payable to:  PHMUA

Please make sure that your check is written out correctly; the bank will not accept the check if the written dollar amount is different from the numerical amount.  Also, remember to sign your check.

The Authority is accepts online payments.  Click here to make a payment.

Returned Checks:

If a check is returned by the bank, a $20.00 Returned Check Fee will be applied to the balance due. The Authority does not redeposit checks.  If you receive notice from your bank that the check did not clear, you must remit payment by cash or money order.

 

Customer Warning:

DO NOT use DOXO to pay your water/sewer bill. Using DOXO may result in a late payment fee being applied to your account or even disconnection due to non-payment. DOXO/com is a THIRD-PARTY PAYMENT WEBSITE that looks official but is NOT AFFILIATED with the Pine Hill Borough MUA.
