About Us
The Pine Hill Borough Municipal Utilities Authority (PHMUA) is a public body corporate and politic of the State of New Jersey and was originally created as a sewerage authority by an ordinance adopted on March 9, 1959 by the governing body of the Borough of Pine Hill (the "Borough"), pursuant to the Municipal and County Utilities Authorities Law. The Authority maintains two separate funds, the Sewer Utility Fund and the Water Utility Fund. ​​ The Authority was created for the purpose of construction, maintaining and operation water supply and distribution system, and a wastewater collection system within the municipal boundaries of the Borough. The Authority bills and collects for its services from all customers and is entitled to a fee for new connections to the system.

The Authority’s address is 907 Turnerville Road, Pine Hill, NJ 08021 and we are open Monday through Friday from 9:00AM-4:00PM, excluding holidays. For any questions we can be reached at 856-783-0739.
If you are in need of emergency service after business hours or on weekends or holidays, please call us at 856-783-0739, and follow the prompts. We have a 24-hour answering service that will contact our employee on emergency duty. Our facilities, including our water supply, wells, and tanks have always been properly secured.
